Director of Mason's Center for Secure Info Systems, Sushil Jajodia was recently notified by the IEEE Computer Society's Awards Committee that he is the recipient of the 2016 Technical Achievement Award. The award recognizes "outstanding contributions in network vulnerability analysis and cyber situation awareness, resulting in seminal papers, patents, and a commercial system."
Recipients of the award have made outstanding and innovative contributions to the fields of computer and information science and engineering or computer technology, usually within the past 10, and not more than 15, years. Contributions must have significantly promoted technical progress in the field.
The Computer Society plans to present this award at its annual awards ceremony on Wednesday, 8 June 2016 in Atlanta, Georgia.
