The George Mason University Student Government invites Volgenau School of Engineering students to attend Mason Lobbies on Thursday, January 28th, 2016. At this annual event, students advocate for higher education and George Mason University's student priorities at the state level.
Students travel by bus to Richmond for the day and personally meet state representatives and delegates to talk about the Mason experienc.e This year, our initiatives include:
• Increasing financial aid to Mason students
• Funding for Robinson Hall renovations,
• Funding for increased research opportunities and safety on campus.
Students from the Volgenau School of Engineering are encouraged to represent the university at this event. Mason Lobbies is a great way to get involved and be heard.
