Daniel Menasce is Finalist for State Council of Higher Education for Virginia Outstanding Faculty Award

Professor Daniel Menasce was one of the 27 finalists among the 92 state-wide nominees for the 2016 Outstanding Faculty Award (OFA) organized by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV) and by Dominion Foundation. Each public and private college and university in the sate is allowed to submit up to five nominations. Faculty of all disciplines are considered.
 
This year Mason submitted five names. Prof. Menasce's was the only nominee from the Volgenau School of Engineering and the only faculty from Mason to be a state-wide finalist.
 
About the Awards
The number of OFA nominations allocated to each institution is based upon the size of FTE student enrollment. Nominees must have a demonstrated record of superior accomplishments in teaching, research, knowledge integration, and public service.
