Dr. Wilsaan Joiner was selected for the 2015 Mentoring Excellence Award. The annual award is given by the Leadership Council, to recognize and reward outstanding Mason community members who mentor undergraduate students on their research and creative activities, and who foster a culture of student scholarship in support of Mason's Students as Scholars initiative.
Joiner will be recognized at the Celebration of Student Scholarship on May 5, 2015 in the Center for the Arts. The outstanding undergraduate scholars will be displaying their projects, and speaking about their experiences.
