Amarda Shehu, CS professor and Associate VP for Research for the IDIA gains a new role as the university's first chief artificial intelligence officer. Shehu's role will propel George Mason forward in the AI technology, research, and academic space.

Peace Engineering Minor

The Peace Engineering Minor was created in partnership with the CEC and the Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution. It teaches students how to apply humanities principles to engineering design.
